PTC provides age-based coaching education, first aid awareness training, and verified background checks, and issues a digital PTC Pass on completion. First aid content is general awareness education, not medical advice or a professional medical credential. A background check and a PTC Pass are risk-reduction tools, not a guarantee of any person's safety or trustworthiness. Parents, leagues, and organizations remain responsible for supervision and safety decisions. Pass The Coach does not employ, control, or supervise coaches.
Checks are performed by an independent, FCRA-compliant Consumer Reporting Agency through a secure process. You receive a disclosure and give authorization first. Eligibility follows our published adjudication standards, and adverse decisions follow FCRA notice and dispute procedures.
The Verify a Coach tool shows whether a coach holds an active PTC Pass and its issue date. It does not provide criminal records and should never be the only safety measure.
Donations are processed by third-party platforms and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or made in error. Our 501(c)(3) status is pending; tax deductibility cannot be confirmed until IRS determination.
