Our Story

It all started
with a coach.

Pass The Coach was born on the sidelines — from a life spent watching what a great coach can do for a child.

Where It Began

A coach's
daughter.

My dad, Patrick Zipfel, has spent more than 25 years coaching in the NBA. He has been my role model — and the inspiration behind this movement.

But while he and the coaches around us traveled to make a living in the game they loved — much like so many parents working to support their families — someone else was coaching their children. The question that built this movement was simple:

Were they safe?

Then & Now

Same sidelines.
A new standard.

From Our Founder

"Growing up, sports gave me confidence, community, and direction. As a coach's daughter, I saw the impact a good coach can have — and the harm when there isn't one. Every child deserves a positive experience without fear. We're setting a new standard where safety is non-negotiable, not just assumed."

Before a coach leads a child,
they should be prepared,
screened, and approved.

That's the whole idea. Free for coaches, funded by donors, built for children.
