Age-based education

Choose 4–7, 8–12, or 13–17 and learn how to lead that age safely. Pass a short quiz (80%).

First aid & CPR

Complete a first aid & CPR awareness module so you're ready when seconds matter.

Background check

A secure, professional screening — the compliance backbone of every approval.

The Full Path

Seven simple steps.

Create your account

First name, last name, email, password. League and location optional. You're in.

Select an age group

Pick the developmental stage you coach. Each option is a clickable card with a short description.

Complete coaching education

Watch the required module — no skipping ahead — then pass a 10-question quiz at 80% or higher. Retake anytime.

4

Finish first aid training

Complete first aid / CPR awareness and confirm completion (or upload proof where needed).

Pass a background check

Submit securely through a trusted provider. Track status in your dashboard: Submitted → Pending → Passed.

Receive your PTC Pass

Earn a digital credential, expiration date, unique coach ID, and QR verification — downloadable as a PDF.

7

Renew every season

Your PTC Pass is valid for one season — about 10 months. Before it expires, re-screen and renew to stay PTC Approved. Safety is never a one-time check.

Approval Logic

No shortcuts to
approved.

A coach only becomes PTC Approved when every requirement is complete:

IF coaching module complete
AND quiz passed (≥80%)
AND first aid complete
AND background check = passed
THEN status = PTC Approved
ELSE status = Pending
